How 300log organizes recordkeeping workflows
How 300log connects establishments, incident logs, OSHA 301 details, 300A summaries, and ITA filing so safety teams keep one record per case.

Recordkeeping starts with establishments
OSHA keeps records per establishment, so 300log does too. Each establishment carries its own address, NAICS code, EIN, annual hours, and employees, and every incident is recorded against one of them. That is what lets a site produce its own OSHA 300 Log the next business day, or its own 300A for posting.
One incident, three OSHA forms
An incident is entered once. Its outcome decides the 300 Log column and day counts, its details fill the 301, and its totals roll into the establishment's 300A. Privacy concern cases print as “privacy case”, and a change to a case updates every form that depends on it.
Filing season without the rebuild
Because the 300A stays current as cases are recorded, January is a review rather than a reconstruction: check open cases, confirm hours worked and average employees, certify, and post. Covered establishments can export ITA-ready CSV files, or connect an ITA API token and authorize auto-filing of 300A data.
Frequently asked questions
Does 300log replace employer recordkeeping judgment?
No. 300log organizes records and filing preparation, but employers remain responsible for accurate OSHA recordkeeping decisions.
Can 300log help with OSHA ITA submissions?
Yes. It exports ITA-ready CSV files per establishment, and workspace owners can connect an ITA API token to authorize auto-filing of 300A data.
Written and reviewed by the 300log Product Team. Guidance, not legal advice: confirm edge cases with OSHA or counsel.
